Last summer, after taking some time off to have my little Chloe, Robert, of Sleepy Wrap approached me about being on their creative team for their upcoming product BOBA, a baby backpack complete with foot straps and hood. I couldn’t have been more excited, and now after several shoots and fully adopting all things natural from baby wearing, to cloth diapering, to making my own baby food, and I’m finally getting around to blogging their newest edition of the BOBA, 2G. I simply adore Robert and his beautiful family, so after the commercial shoot I was able to get a few of their newest edition, Gloria! I was hoping to get a few of all the family, however Nicoli, their youngest son, had taken a terrible spill and had the war wounds to prove it. So here are a few from our shoot! I love their newest color tweet 2G! You can purchase your own here and all the images on the box are taken by yours truly! There is even a rumor going around that you can find Chloe and I modeling on a BOBA box too!

{Estes Wedding Photographer at Della Terra} Brent & Lea say I do…
As I sit here I don’t even know how to begin talking about Brent & Lea’s wedding, because I felt like we were in a different world at the elegant and stunning Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park. Not only did Wade & I photograph the wedding, but we were also fortunate to stay there too. When we arrived there were warm cookies and the sweetest welcome gift from Lea & Brent…bubble bath and bath salts! Plus, the owners could not have been more accommodating and helpful during our stay. A special thanks to Pam!
More often than not, by the time I photograph my client’s weddings I feel like an old friend, Lea is actually a very dear friend, dating back to our days in governor school and college, but you can read more about that here. Lea’s sister, Carrie, is also my sister in law and not only made Lea’s gown, but hers as well! She creates the most beautiful, awe inspiring creations, and if your in need of a custom gown for your wedding day, just drop me a line and I’ll put you in touch with her! So being there as the photographer, and friend was an added bonus, seeing as most of the guests in attendance were originally from Pittsburgh, we felt right at home. It was a small intimate affair with the most superb swing band, flowers, people, affectionate bride and groom and yes, ice cream cakes! Who doesn’t LOVE icecream cake?
I know most brides smile a lot, but seriously, every time Lea looked at Brent she lit up and a huge grin covered her beautiful face…that is if they weren’t busy kissing
Ok, I better post these images or else I could go on and on about how ridiculously adorable these two are together! View their slideshow here!
One of my most favorite gown shots ever…the rooms here were incredible!

Brent & Lea chose to do a first look, which I highly recommend for my clients, as we're able to capture some beautiful images!

There were some tender moments in the ceremony, but there were also some funny ones too! I wasn't sure if Brent's ring was going to go on.

Then the party freshened up back in the room before we headed out for some more images in the Rocky Mt National Park.

Lea, being polish danced with her dad to the Polka...she was rather surprised when her dad took off on the dance floor!
Congrats Lea & Brent!! I’m so thrilled that you guys are living so close to us…no doubt there will be more parties, hiking and girl time together now that your living here Lea and not in Montana!
